This is the Privacy Statement of STX Commodities B.V. regarding the privacy of information that STX may collect on this website (the “Site”). Click here for our Privacy Statement for Job Applicants. This Privacy Statement only applies to the information that STX collects on the Site and does not apply to information STX collects by any other methods.
Collection of Information: When you register to use the Site or choose to submit information to the Site, STX may collect information from you such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, your firm’s name or comments. Generally, the information STX collects on the Site is used only for STX’s own internal purposes, for example, to improve the content of the Site, to improve STX’s marketing and promotional efforts, to statistically analyze the Site usage patterns on an aggregate basis, to improve content and Site offerings, and may be used by STX to contact you to provide you with information STX believes may be useful to you. STX believes that the use of information as such allows it to improve the Site and better tailor it to meet users’ needs. STX will only use the information you give us on the Site for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement.
Disclosure of Information: At no time will STX sell or broker any of the information that STX receives from you through your use of the Site to third parties. As a general rule, STX will not disclose any personal information to third parties, except in the following circumstances: (i) when STX believes in good faith that it is required under applicable law, (ii) to protect other users of the Site, or (iii) to respond to an emergency and as set forth below.

Privacy Statement for Job Applicants
This notice aims to inform you about the personal data we collect and process when you apply for a position with us. STXwith a registered office at Gelrestraat 30, 1079MZ, Amsterdam, is the data controller of the personal data processed as described in this statement. We explain the purposes for which we use your data, how we collect it, and your rights regarding this data under the applicable data protection regimes.

What personal data does STX collect?
We handle your contact information, the details in your CV, your cover letter, and any other relevant documents you provide. This may include your prefix, name, previous or maiden name, gender, nationality, civil/marital status, and date of birth.
For what purposes do we use your personal data?
We process this data solely for the purpose of selecting and recruiting new employees. STX will not be used for any other purposes.

Data retention period
If your application is unsuccessful, we will, in principle, retain your personal data for 4 weeks after the conclusion of the application process. However, if you wish to be considered for future positions, we will only retain your personal data for 1 year with your consent. After this period, your data will be anonymized, retaining only non-identifiable information for reporting purposes.
